1.4 Protective barriers in nuclear power: general questions, classification

| There are considered on macro-level the basic physical
protective barriers (safety barriers) typical as for specialized enterprises
for radioactive waste disposal as for radwaste storages at NPP. The problems of
protective barriers classification and scientific development of multibarriers
protection principle (analyses of problem) to provide the general safety system
in nuclear power are discussed.
